Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha touched 34913 on Sunday with 1434 new cases being reported from 29 districts in the last 24 hours.
Among them, 889 are from quarantine centres and 545 local contact cases.
Ganjam leads the tally with 320 cases followed by Khurda (218), Rayagada (197), Cuttack (123), Gajapati (91), Sundargarh (76), Puri (65), Jajpur (57), Sambalpur (51), Kandhamal (44), Bhadrak (25), Malkangiri (24), Kendrapada (22), Kalahandi (18), 13 each in Dhenkanal and Jagatsinghpur, 12 each in Balasore and Koraput, Angul (9), Nayagarh (8), Nuapada (7), six each from Jharsuguda and Sonepur, five each in Bargarh and Boudh, two each in Deogarh, Keonjhar and Nabarangpur, and Mayurbhanj (1).
With 197 deaths and 21273 recoveries, Odisha now has 13404 active cases.
