Bhubaneswar: BJP’s national vice-president Baijayant Panda has once again targeted BJD by stating that its Tamil puppeteer was ignorant about Odia language and hence making false allegations against him.
In a press release on Tuesday, Panda said the BJD’s Tamil puppeteer has falsely accused him of speculating about the chief minister’s health. “Clearly he still has not fully learnt Odia, otherwise he would have realised that there was not a single word mentioned about CM’s health in yesterday’s BJP press conference,” he said.
“What Panda said was that one non-Odia person is controlling the CM and putting out AI-generated deepfake videos instead of actual videos by CM,” said the official statement issued by office of Panda.
Panda, who is contesting as BJP candidate for Kendrapada Lok Sabha seat in Odisha elections, further accused the BJD of making uncharitable remarks about his health in their press conference and statements since Monday.
Stating that there was a simple solution to the issue, Panda said, “As told by the Prime Minister, the CM should simply come out in a public forum and name Odisha districts. This would put to rest all the concerns and speculations about the unfortunate control over the CM by non-Odia forces.”
Two days back, Panda had said it was regretful that the Chief Minister was being manipulated by a former bureaucrat. “It is extremely sad to see Odisha’s CM being manipulated like a puppet by his ex-bureaucrat, now “politician” handler,” he said in a post on his X handle.
