Bhubaneswar: BJP national president J P Nadda will again visit Odisha on May 5 to chalk out election strategy, party’s state unit vice president Golak Mohapatra informed on Friday.
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar will also embark on two-day visit to the state from Saturday.
“The BJP chief will attend party programmes in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The EAM will be on a two-day visit to Odisha starting tomorrow and attend several programmes in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur,” he said.
Jaishankar’s itinerary in the twin cities includes meetings with intellectuals and media editors, he added.

On April 28, Nadda addressed a Vijay Sankalp Samavesh at Ambapua near Berhampur and cautioned people about an attempt to “bring outsiders” to the helm in the government as he sought an end to the 24-year BJD rule in the state.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had sounded the poll bugle for BJP on April 25 from Sonepur, which was picked as a strategic venue to influence voters in western Odisha where the party had won all five Lok Sabha seats (Bargarh, Sundargarh, Balangir, Sambalpur and Kalahandi) in 2019.
