Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended the last date for submission of ex-gratia claims for COVID-19 deaths till May 28, 2022.
The next of kin of patients who died of COVID-19 on or before March 20, 2022 are being provided with ex-gratia of Rs 50,000 from the disaster management fund.
Those yet to receive the ex-gratia can apply offline to Collectors concerned along with necessary documents or apply online on https://caps.odisha.gov.in by May 28.
Kin of patients who succumbed to COVID-19 after March 20, 2022 can apply offline within 90 days of death to the Collector concerned or online on https://caps.odisha.gov.in
Those failing to apply for the ex-gratia within the given time period can apply through the Grievance Redressal Committee formed in each district. Ex-gratia will be disbursed within 30 days of applying.
