Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy lauded officials of district administrations for their efficient work in setting up COVID-19 hospitals within a short span of time during his visit to the districts to review progress.
Tripathy — who visited Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar on Thursday along with 5T secretary VK Pandian and other senior officials of the government — thanked private companies for their contributions in the fight against novel coronavirus outbreeak.
A 200-bed hospital was opened in Mayurbhanj on Wednesday, while a 200-bed facility is already operational in Keonjhar. Balasore, too, has an exclusive COVID hospital with 120 beds.
Pandian reviewed law and order situation, stressing on the need to maintain peace and harmony during these trying times in lockdown period.
