Bhubaneswar: To expedite the completion of pending official work during the second-phase of the lockdown period, the Odisha government has modified its earlier order and asked the following officials and staff to join their offices from Monday.
According to a notification by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the following officials and staff will join duty:
—All Group ‘A’ officers shall attend their respective offices unfailingly.
—The offices of the Board of Revenue and sub-registrar offices shall operate with up to 33 per cent staff in the notified urban areas of Khurda, Cuttack, Sundargarh, Kendrapara, Bhadrak. Puri, Kalahandi. Dhenkanal and Jajpur. The staff belonging to Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ will report for work on a roster basis prepared by their authorities. The remaining offices of Board of Revenue and sub-registrar offices beyond the above urban limits shall operate with 100 per cent staff.
—The offices of Revenue Divisional Commissioners, district collectors, sub-collectors, tehsil offices, Revenue Inspector offices have been allowed to function with 100 per cent staff strength as part of COVID-19 management process.
—All stamp vendors shall be allowed to operate from the districts/sub-registrar offices.
—All minor mineral sources like bali ghat, crusher unit, and quarry unit shall operate to facilitate construction works.
—All offices and field functionaries under the Revenue and Disaster Management Department shall observe guidelines contained in COVID-19 master circular on social distancing guidelines of the Health and Family Welfare Department.
