Bhubaneswar: In a major decision, the Odisha government on Tuesday allowed the students of Class IX of all Odia medium schools to appear at the annual Matric examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) and the Class XI students at the Plus II examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in May this year.
According to a notification issued from the office of the Chief Minister, the Class IX and XI students, who could not appear in the final examination last year due to COVID-19 pandemic, will be allowed to appear in the annual Matric examination and the Plus II examination respectively.
As announced by the School and Mass Education Department, the Matric examination will be held from May 3 to 15 and the Plus II examination from May 15 to June 11.
