Bhubaneswar: In order to facilitate electronic payment of taxes and dues, the state government has launched the e-Receipt 2.0 model.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra on Thursday launched the e-Receipt 2.0 model for which Indian Bank and Axis Bank have integrated their services with Odisha Treasury portal.
The government officials and representatives of the two banks signed the service legal agreements in presence of the chief secretary at Lokseva Bhavan.
The payment gateway of these two banks have been integrated with Integrated Financial Management system which will provide the facilities like payment through credit-debit cards, UPI ID, QR code and wallet.
Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena, principal secretary, Finance Vishal Kumar Dev along and senior officers from the Finance department and both banks were present.
