Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday issued formal notifications about the ouster of the Chairpersons of four Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) following their defeat in no confidence resolutions.
The department of Housing and Urban Development issued separate official notifications regarding the offices of these Chairpersons having fallen vacant from the date with the no-trust resolutions were passed in the respective ULBs.
As per official sources, Chairperson of Bhawanipatna Municipality and those of Notified Area Councils (NACs) of Nilagiri, Junagarh and Purushottampur lost the no confidence resolutions brought against them.
