Bhubaneswar: The major proposals that were approved by the state Cabinet on Wednesday included amendment to the Odisha Revenue Service Recruitment Rule 2011.
Speaking to mediapersons after the Cabinet meeting, chief secretary Asit Tripathy said following the amendment, the quota for Revenue ministerial staff will increase by 10 per cent.
In case the remaining 10 per cent (promotional) quota is not filled up, the ministerial staff can be promoted as they have more experience and it will help the department, he added.
