Speaking to the media persons about the programme, IT Minister Tushar Kanti Behera said the government has already signed an agreement with Intel India to jointly develop the programme in presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Stating that technology is a major component of 5T driven administration, he said almost all departments of the government are developing their applications with the help of AI.

“As the world advances with the AI, the government considers it necessary to adopt the technology to increase the efficiency and service delivery of the departments,” said the Minister.

“AI-driven chatbots are already integrated in the government websites. But only the persons conversant with the technology are using it. We want to make AI available to all people,” he added.

Behera also said Artificial Intelligence for Youth has several modules and everyone, from students to employees and businessmen, who has a smartphone, can take its advantage.
