Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has sought applications from the persons associated with education for Chief Minister’s Education Award.
A notification of School and Mass Education department, released on Friday, stated that total Rs 116,84, 79,000 will be given for 59,109 awards under 14 categories of the award.
The secondary schools and their teachers and headmasters, primary schools and their teachers and headmasters, old students’ committees, panchayats, district education officer, block education officer, districts and bocks are eligible for the award.
The eligible institutions and persons can apply on the official website of Chief Minister’s Education Award between November 4 and 17.
The award money includes Rs 32.17 crore for 1,94,676 state-level awards, Rs 24.58 crore for 4,680 district-level awards, Rs 59.97 crore for block-level awards, Rs 11.60 lakh for 50 awards at the level of municipal corporation and 58 sub-divisions, the notification stated.
