Bhubaneswar: Registration for the much-awaited Subhadra Yojana, Odisha government’s flagship programme for the welfare of women, is slated to begin from Sunday.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who also holds Women and Child Development portfolio, the final guidelines for the scheme have already been issued by the government.
The Women and Child Development Department has distributed adequate application forms for the Subhadra Scheme in all districts. The forms have been available for beneficiaries and the registration process will commence on Sunday, she said.
The department has emphasized that all procedures related to the scheme are free of cost. Application forms can be obtained from Anganwadi Centers, Block Offices, Municipal Offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jana Seva Kendras.
Applicants can submit the filled forms at the nearest Mo Seva Kendra or Jana Seva Kendra.
The applicants need to have Aadhaar Card/Number in their names, single-holder bank account linked with Aadhaar card, Active DBT-enabled bank account, mobile phone number linked with Aadhaar card.
The department has warned against misleading news and advised applicants to follow official guidelines to ensure a smooth registration process.
