Bhubaneswar: District Collector Ashish Thakare on Tuesday visited Kansa, Toranipani and Kundhei in Odisha’s Keonjhar and interacted with multilingual education (MLE) teachers and students.
Thakare was shown children-friendly education measures adopted by teachers such as wall paintings and ‘speaking wall’.
He also visited the Matru Sishu Poshan Kendra at Kundhei and interacted with creche workers of Birahanuman SHG.
He distributed PVTH household cards to the Juanga Community and VDC cards to secretary of VDCs. He also distributed bicycles with masonry and carpentry tools and cycle repairing equipment to three PVTG beneficiaries.
