Bhubaneswar: The district court here on Friday granted interim bail to Khurda MLA-elect Prashant Jagdev in connection with the EVM toppling case.
He has been granted bail for 3 days – June 9, 10, 11, and asked to surrender before the court on June 12.
“We had sought bail for a month over oath-taking ceremony on June 10, medical grounds and death of his nephew. But the court granted bail for just 3 days,” Jagdev’s lawyer told the media.
