Bhubaneswar: The active cases in Odisha touched 34216 on Tuesday as 3,456 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
The test positivity rate (TPR) rose to 5.24 per cent from 4.79 per cent the previous day despite an increase in testing from 61608 to 65845 during this period.
According to the I & PR department, 1973 of the new cases are from quarantine and 1483 local contacts
Among the 30 districts, Khurda again recorded the highest of 499 fresh infections followed by Cuttack (480) and Jajpur (267).
District Wise Cases:
With this, 19 districts are in Green Zone (active cases). The number of districts with a TPR of less than 5 per cent has gone up to 18 from 17 the previous day.
