Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha remained below 200 for the second consecutive day on Monday with 197 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 191 new cases on Sunday, 264 cases on Saturday, 219 on Friday, 335 on Thursday and 288 cases on Wednesday.
Among them, 25 are in the age group of 0-18 years, which is 13 per cent of the total cases against 17 per cent on Saturday.
According to the I & PR department, 115 of the new infections are from quarantine and 82 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest 94 cases, followed by 16 in Sambalpur and 12 in Sundargarh. Eleven districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 52,228 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.37 per cent. The TPR was 0.33 per cent on Sunday, 0.47 per cent on Saturday, and 0.37 per cent on Friday.
While the affected tally has touched 10,48,880, Odisha now has 2,333 active cases.
