New Delhi: Rajnikanth, a migrant labourer from Odisha pushed a TTE off a moving train in Kerala’s Thrissur on Tuesday evening, leading to the latter’s death, according to police.
Rajnikanth got into a heated argument with the TTE K. Vinod and in a fit of rage, pushed him out of the moving train, causing his death, IANS reported.
Police arrested the labourer when the train reached Palakkad. He was later handed over to the Railway Police.
Vinod was a resident of Kochi. A diesel mechanic, he had sought a transfer to be a TTE two years back, as per an official, the report added.
