Bhubaneswar: The results of annual matric examination, conducted by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE), is likely to be announced by May third week, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed on Sunday.
The summative assessment-2 of High School Certificate (HSC), Madhyama and State Open School Certificate (SOSC) examinations concluded on March 20. Evaluation of answer scripts began at 56 centres from April 3. The results are usually announced within 45 days of the evaluation of the answer sheets.
More than 5 lakh students appeared for the matric examination at 3,218 centres across the state.
The minister further said that results of Plus II science and commerce streams will be published towards May last week. The dates will announced soon, he added.
The Plus II examinations in the state were conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) between March 1 and April 5. More than 3.5 lakh students appeared for the board examinations in 1,145 examination centres across the state.
