Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual Matric examinations in Odisha will be announced by July 31, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday.
“The evaluation of the Matric papers has been completed and the tabulation of the marks is underway. The entire process is expected to be completed by the end of this month and the results will be announced tentatively by July 31,” the minister told the media.
On the evaluation of the papers of the annual Plus II examinations, Dash said there has been an inordinate delay in the process as teachers are unable to come to the evaluation centres due to the lockdown and shutdown in the COVID hotspot districts.
Stating that Plus II evaluation in the COVID-prone districts has been stopped, the minister said he will write to the chief secretary to direct the collectors to allow the evaluation in their respective districts.
