Bhubaneswar: Rajya Sabha member from Odisha Sujeet Kumar has been nominated as a member of the Consultative Committee for Ministry of External Affairs.
He was elected to the Upper House unopposed on Biju Janata Dal (BJD) ticket on March 18 this year.
Kumar earlier served at senior policy planning positions with the Odisha government. He was the Advisor, in the rank of Chief Secretary, to the Special Development Council (SDC) and Special Secretary of the Odisha State Planning Board.
