Berhampur: The first-ever placement week of ITI Berhampur witnessed participation of more than 20 industries.
Inaugurated by Principal Secretary, SDET, Hemant Sharma, on Wednesday, three industries recruited 466 candidates on the first day.
Companies like Tata, TVS, Suzuki, Piaggo, Lava, Hero and others are participating to recruit more than 1000 candidates for ITI Berhampur. The students, who will graduate in December, have participated.
DTET G Reghu, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amrit Kulange also attended the programme. Principal, ITI Berhampur, Dr Rajat Panigrahy assured that more industries will come up in coming days to Berhampur with better packages.
