Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded the fourth highest ever collection of net GST (OGST + IGST Settlement) with a collection of Rs 1853.98 crore during October, 2023.
The monthly average tax collection (OGST + IGST Settlement) up to the month of October, 2023 is Rs 1744.30 crore against an average collection of Rs 1475.61 crore up to October, 2022, with a growth rate of 18.21%, an official release said on Wednesday.
Out of these, the OGST collection during October, 2023 is recorded at Rs 1306.47 crore against collection of Rs 1058.38 crore during the same month last year, with growth rate of 23.43%.
The collection under all Acts monitored by the Commissionerate of CT & GST, Odisha including OGST/ IGST Settlement / VAT/ Entry Tax and Profession Tax during October2023 is Rs 2831.17 crore.
The monthly average collection under all Acts for the FY 2023-24 (till Oct ’23) is 2677.98 crore against an average collection of Rs. 2374.49 Cr for FY 2022-23 (up to Oct ’22) with a growth rate of 12.78%.
With regard to Gross GST collection (CGST+ IGST+ SGST+ Cess), the state has recorded a collection of Rs 4176.94 crore during October ‘23 against collection of Rs 3769.44 crore over corresponding period of October ‘22 with a growth rate of 10.81%.
The progressive Gross GST collection during FY 2023-24 (till October 23) is Rs. 30893.17 crore with growth of 10.72% over corresponding period of FY 2022-23. During October 2023, 21.19 lakh of waybills have been generated vis-à-vis 16.65 lakh of waybills generated during October 2022 recording a growth of 27.26% reflecting the buoyancy in the economic sector
