Odisha Records 57 COVID Cases For Second Consecutive Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Saturday recorded 57 COVID cases for the second consecutive day against the same number of positives on Friday, and 59 cases on Thursday.

According to the I&PR Department, 32 cases are from quarantine and 25 cases from local contacts. Among them, eight are in the 0-18 age group.

Here is the district-wise tally of new cases:

1. Balasore: 4
2. Cuttack: 4
3. Deogarh: 4
4. Gajapati: 2
5. Jagatsinghpur: 1
6. Jajpur: 1
7. Kalahandi: 1
8. Khurda: 8
9. Koraput: 1
10. Nayagarh: 4
11. Nuapada: 1
12. Puri: 1
13. Rayagada: 1
14. Sambalpur: 2
15. Sonepur: 1
16. Sundargarh: 19

Besides, two are from the state pool.

With 9,110 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.62%. Odisha now has 448 active cases.
