Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally went up to 313,961 in Odisha on Sunday with 638 new cases reported overnight. This was a substantial dip from the 778 new cases reported a day earlier.
Among the new cases reported by the government on Sunday, 363 are in quarantine and 265 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda reported the highest of 70 new cases followed by Mayurbhanj (65), Jagatsinghpur (50), Sundargarh (46), Angul (40), Cuttack (39), Kendrapada (33), Keonjhar (31), Jajpur (29), Bargarh (27), Balangir (23), Jharsuguda (23), Sambalpur (23), Balasore (21), Kalahandi (21), Dhenkanal (11), Nabarangpur (13), Koraput (9), Puri (9), Ganjam (8), Bhadrak (7), Deogarh (5), Nayagarh (5), Boudh (4), Malkangiri (4), Nuapada (4), Kandhamal (3), Rayagada (1) and Sonepur (1).
Besides, the state pool has 13 cases.
At present, Odisha has active 7360 cases and 304,908 patients have recovered.
