Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 461 more COVID-19 cases, the second-highest in a day since December 1, on Friday.
The state had seen 480 on December 2.
These were detected among 30716 samples tested on Thursday.
According to the Health Department sources, 272 are quarantine and 189 are local contact cases.
Nuapada has reported the highest of 86 cases, followed by Khurda (69) and Sundargarh (62).

While Odisha has reported 337212 recoveries and 1921 deaths, the number of active cases now stands at 2586.
The state had reported 394 cases on Thursday and 297 on Wednesday.
