Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a slight rise in daily COVID caseload on Sunday as 193 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 169 the previous day.
The state had registered 154 COVID cases on Friday, 173 cases on Thursday, 218 on Wednesday, and 175 on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR Department, 112 of the new infections are from quarantine and 81 local contacts. Among them, 34 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 107 new cases followed by Cuttack at 17. Thirteen districts reported nil cases.

Besides, 26 cases are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 60,426 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.31%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,52,834, Odisha now has 1,894 active cases.
