Bhubaneswar: Police are yet to trace a college girl who has been missing since the past two days.
The missing girl is a resident of Jagannath Vihar and pursuing her Plus III from Rama Devi Women’s University in Bhubaneswar.
The girl’s family told police that she had gone to a milk booth near their house on Sunday evening. When she did not return home, the family frantically searched for her in the locality but in vain.
That same night, they lodged a complaint at Bharatpur police station.
Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash said the missing girl is a minor and therefore police have taken up the case seriously.
The DCP informed that two special squads were formed to trace the missing student. Police have interrogated the family members of the girl’s boyfriend, he added.
