Bhubaneswar: A student from Odisha has emerged topper in a degree course in the Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri National Sanskrit University in New Delhi.
As per reports, Soumyaranjan Badapanda from Sambalpur has been pursuing his studies in Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Rashtriya Sanskrit Veedyapeetha (SLBSRSV), also known as Central Sanskrit University.
Soumya had appeared in the final examination of the Degree course of Pourahitya (Karmakanda) conducted by the university. He has emerged topper in the examination.
The elder son of Biswaranjan Badapanda and Kalyani Badapanda of Khaliapali village in the district, Soumya credited his teachers and parents for his achievement.
On his future plan, Soumay, a keen student of Sanskrit, said he wanted to spread the ancient Gurukula system of education across the country.
