Bhubaneswar: Bekey Oram, a product of Odisha’s Balangir Sports Hostel, has been roped in by NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) on a three-year contract.
The 19-year-old midfielder showed promise early in his footballing journey and represented Odisha in the U-13 category.
In 2017, he joined Bengaluru FC academy, where he progressed through the various age-groups before earning a berth in the reserve team. He was a vital part of the team that clinched the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) title in two consecutive years, and won the Golden Ball in RFDL 2022.
Now, he’s set for the big league as he dons the jersey in ISL.
