Bhubaneswar: A large number of retailers from different parts of Odisha participated in a unique Super Power Retailers Training Programme which was launched by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Education and Skill Development Minister said that the programme aims at enhancing the efficiency of retail traders and small businessmen by improving their skills.
The training programme will also enable the retail traders to learn how to make good profits from their businesses.
Apart from strengthening the digital literacy of the traders, the training programme seeks to impart lessons on customer management, financial management and inventory management. Hundreds of retailors from across the state attended the special training programme.
The programme, organised jointly by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) of India and Coca Cola India, will focus on enhancing the skills and abilities of retail traders. The training programme includes both physical and online lessons.
