Bhubaneswar: Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) have won the GeoMineTech Award 2020-21 in different categories.
The Barbil unit of JSPL was presented the GeoMineTech Golden Vibgyor HR Excellence Award 2020-21 for its significant contribution in the field of human resources at the GeoMineTech two-day symposium held in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The company’s Barbil unit won GeoMineTech Vibgyor Rainbow Safety Excellence Award for ensuring best health and environment safety practices. The unit’s Sarat Kishore Panda, Head (HR) was presented Best Corporate Management Innovative HR Excellence Award for his contribution in the field of human resources and COVID management.
Similarly, Tensa unit won GeoMineTech Golden Rainbow Award for excellence in the fields of Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environment protection, Occupational Health & Safety and Management of COVID-19. The unit’s business head Pramod Kumar Patra was conferred with ‘Innovative Leadership Excellence Award for reinforcing corporate, ethical and cultural values in the unit.
The Chairman-cum-Managaing Director (CMD) of MCL PK Sinha was presented with Best CEO Corporate Management Innovation Award. Sinha, is the CMD of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh) and holds the additional charge of MCL.
