Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids on the houses and property of Jayant Kumar Das, Assistant Civil Supplies Officer, Nayagarh, for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The raids are undergoing at five locations:
>> Four-storey building at Lenkudipada, Nayagarh
>> Double-storey building at Gandhisahi lane, Odagaon, Nayagarh
>> Another double-storey building at Gandhisahi lane, Odagaon, Nayagarh
>> Single-storey building at native village Biruda, Nayagarh
>> Office of Das at Nayagarh town
The Vigilance has so far unearthed Rs 2,74,075 in cash, a four-wheeler, and three two-wheelers.
