Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Commission for Women (OSCW) on Sunday said that it will try its best to resolve the marital discord between actors Anubhav Mohanty and Varsha Priyadarshini.
Speaking to the media, OSCW chairperson Minati Behera said that a woman should live in a society with pride and dignity. On the other hand, as Anubhav is now an MP, people should accept him as a role model.
She said it is the responsibility of the couple to cooperate with each other to resolve the matter instead of blaming each other.
Stating that OSCW is a quasi-judicial body and it cannot intervene in a case referred to the court, she said if the couple withdraws the case and approach the commission, it will try its best to resolve it.
