Nuapada: A youth sustained bullet injuries after two unidentified miscreants opened fire at him in Odisha’s Nuapada on Sunday.
The youth, identified as Nilambar Meher was rushed to a local hospital and later shifted to the district headquarters hospital at Bhawanipatna.
The incident took place at Kapsi Chowk in Sinapali at Nuapada, said sources.
Meher, who runs a fast food joint at Sinapali was shot by the miscreants at around 9 pm last night. The gunshot wound caused a serious injury leading to severe bleeding, sources added.
Sinapali police have registered a case and investigating the crime.
