Bhadrak: The COVID-19 positive cases in Bhadrak district went up to 484 on Friday with the highest single-day spike of 60 cases in the last 24 hours.
Besides one more person succumbed to the virus, taking the district’s death toll to two on Friday.
Bhadrak Collector Gyana Ranjan Das informed that of the new positive cases, 41 were local contacts and 19 were reported from institutional quarantine centres.

All the infected persons were admitted to the COVID hospital and the contact tracing of the patients has started, the collector added.
With two deaths and 343 recoveries, Bhadrak district has 140 active cases at present.
