Bhubaneswar: She is one of Odisha’s most promising tennis talents. And the results are starting to show.

Just 15 years old, Sohini Mohanty is competing against older players, and succeeding.

A month after lifting titles at AITA Under-18 National Series tournament in Ahmedabad, the Class IX girl of KIIT International School has done an encore. This time, the top-seeded Sohini won the U-18 singles and doubles crowns in the AITA National Series championship in Haryana’s Jhajjar.

In February, Sohini scripted history when she teamed up with Aradhya Verma to clinch the doubles gold at the Khelo India Youth Games in MP.
