Bhubaneswar: Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer Subhendu Pattnaik has been deployed in the office of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi (CMO).
“Subhendu Pattnaik, OAS-A (JB), Valuation Officer, H&UD Department, is hereby deployed to the office of the Chief Minister, Odisha until further orders,” read the notification issued by the Revenue & Disaster Management Department.
Earlier this month, the state government had posted OAS officer, Sameer Dash, in the CMO. Das earlier served as under secretary in Women and Child Welfare department and was also deployed in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha.
On June 22, senior OAS officer Chitrasen Rout was appointed as additional secretary to the CM. Debi Prasad Mishra was appointed as Deputy Secretary two days later. Keonjhar sub-collector Trilochan Mohanty was also transferred and posted as joint secretary in the CMO. Similarly, Satish Chandra Samal, who was working as senior private secretary, Home Department, was appointed as Additional Private Secretary.
Senior Odisha Finance Service (OFS) officer Umesh Chandra Tripathy was also posted as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
