Bhubaneswar: Shopaholics were in for a treat at the two-day Sutraa Exhibition, which concluded here on Saturday.
More than 40 designers from Kolkata, Raipur, Bihar, Indore and New Delhi showcased their latest and exquisite collections at the event. The visitors had a varied range of ethnic and fusion designer wear, sarees, lehnga, gowns, suit pieces, jewellery, skin care, sandals, handbags, gift boxes to pick from.
“My collection is in the range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 20,000. The cocktail gowns and blouse with heavy embroidery work are in demand,” said a designer from Kolkata.
The Indo-western designer wear, vibrant tunics, dazzling jewellery, flowing sarees and designer handbags also caught the visitors’ fancy.
However, the business was dull compared to last year despite the upcoming Raja festival and marriage season, according to the stall owners.
The organisers carry this fashion and lifestyle exhibition to cities like- Raipur, Nagpur, Kanpur, Indore, Lucknow, Ranchi too.
