OnePlus TV’s specifications are finally out. The TV will be a 55-inch QLED display, according to a listing on Amazon.
The resolution will be 4K. It will have 8 speakers and “the 50W output with punchy base to fill your living room”, according to Amazon India. It will support Dolby Vision, HDR 4K video content, and Dolby Atmos.
The OnePlus TV will run on a modified version of Android TV OS. The TV is expected to be launched on September 26 in India.
“Our goal is for OnePlus to set the standard for future smart TV products, because we focus on every last detail. To me, designing a TV is about more than creating a high-quality display. A TV takes up a prominent spot in a household, meaning its design has to be worth viewing even when the TV is turned off,” OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had said recently.
We expect OnePlus to price the TV around Rs 40-50K considering the high specifications.
