Balangir: The Balangir police busted an online fraud with the arrest of four persons from Rajasthan and seizure of 60 bank accounts on Sunday.
More than Rs 85 lakh has been traced in these bank accounts, the police said. According to sources, the police acted on the basis of a complaint registered with cyber police recently.
The frauds lured the man into investing in an online trading application.
The accused used virtual SIM cards to hoodwink the police. We traced the accused by tracking their email address through which they contacted the victims, the police said.
“Local police teams in Rajasthan cooperated with us and helped us identify the main accused Vikash Parikh in this case,” the police said.
