Operator Sustains Serious Injuries As Crane Boom Snaps At Paradip Port

Paradip: A crane operator sustained serious injuries as the equipment’s boom collapsed while unloading operation was underway in Odisha’s Paradip on Tuesday.

According to sources, the mishap occurred at the MPB berth of Paradip port when limestone was being unloaded from a ship.

The injured operator was rushed to the Port hospital and his condition is stated to be stable. The vessel also sustained damages due to the accident, said sources.
