Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued orange warning for 6 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, till 7.30 pm.
Light to moderate rain/thudnershower with lightning along with hail and strong surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely in Kurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack, Nayagarh, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, and Kendrapada in 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
