Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thundershower and lightning is likely to lash four districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities, on Sunday morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
Issuing the warning at 9.10 am along with an orange alert, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that rain, thundershower and lightning may affect some parts of Puri, Ganjam, Cuttack (including Cuttack city) and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city) districts within next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safe places to protect from lightning strike.
