Bhubaneswar: The Odisha University of Agriculture Technology (OUAT) has postponed the last semester and internal examinations of the undergraduate (B.Sc) and postgraduate (M.Sc) streams of the Basic Science College.
The decision was taken following the Odisha government’s announcement to shut all educational institutions till July 31.
Notably, the OUAT has cancelled the second and fourth semester examinations of the undergraduate streams and the second semester of the post graduate streams following the directive of the Higher Education Department. Besides, the undergraduate and postgraduate students will be promoted to the next semester as per the directive of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The university in a notification has debarred the students from staying in the hostels as these have been converted to institutional quarantine centres. The students will be apprised of the next date of examinations after the situation normalises, it added.
