Jajpur: The election flying squad seized unaccounted cash of Rs 15.31 lakh from a car near Garamia at Rengali in Jajpur on Saturday night.
According to sources, the enforcement squad and Sukinda police intercepted a car and recovered Rs 15.31 lakh cash from it. Three persons, including the driver, were detained.
Further investigation into the matter is on.
Likewise, Rs 95,000 was seized from an SUV at Bhandabh under Bangiriposhi Assembly constituency in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday night. The police also detained one person in this connection.
