New Delhi: There will be no winter session of Parliament this time to avoid any spread of COVID-19, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has said.
The minister said the leaders of all parties have favoured the scrapping of the winter session due to the pandemic and jump straight to the Budget session in January.
Joshi confirmed this in a letter to Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, who had demanded a session to discuss the controversial new farm laws, NDTV reported.
