Bhubaneswar: NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Rajiv Kumar said on Wednesday that Odisha’s per capita income has seen a rise since 2011. However, Kumar observed that there’s a lot to be done in the mining, tourism and agriculture sector.
According to him, the NITI Aayog’s aim is to discuss states’ issues and how the policy think tank can help address those issues in consultation with the Centre.
Kumar is on a 3-day visit to Odisha, in which he is scheduled to attend a high-level meet with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and senior officials at the Lok Seva Bhawan later on Wednesday.
