Bhubaneswar: The depreciating rupee and rising global crude oil prices have led to hike in petrol prices for the 3rd consecutive day on Saturday.
Petrol retails at Rs 69.72 per litre in Bhubaneswar and diesel stands at Rs 69.86 a litre. This is a difference of 17 paise as compared to the price on Friday.
Global oil prices had increased by 3% on Friday, after OPEC ironed out production-cut issues to counter global oversupply and also because of China-US trade war was showing signs of improvement, reports Financial Express.
Brent crude had risen by $1.52 and now stands at $62.70 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude increased by $1.73 and stood at $53.80 a barrel.
