Bhubaneswar: Piaggio on Tuesday launched a range of electric 3-wheelers in India, both in passenger and cargo segments.
Here are the prices:
e-City FX – Rs 2.84 lakh
e-Xtra FX – Rs. 3.12 lakh
The e-City FX is powered by a 48-volt, 7.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that has an electric motor with a power output of 7.3 BHP and peak torque of 29 Nm. The e-rickshaw has a maximum range of 110 km on a single charge. The top speed is 45 kmph.
The e-Xtra FX has a 8 kWh lithium-ion battery with 12.8BHP electric motor. Its cargo version has a maximum range of 90 km. It has a 6 feet loading bed with a payload capacity of 506 kg.
The electric 3-wheelers have automatic transmission, hill hold assist, regenerative braking, boost mode and Piaggio Connect telematics.
